This striking metal bangle carries a story etched in resilience. Handmade by artisan families in the mountains of Laos, each piece is cast from aluminium recycled from bombs dropped during the Vietnam War—transformed from instruments of destruction into symbols of hope, healing, and human dignity.
🪙 Upcycled from History
• Made from safely sourced aluminium salvaged from deactivated UXO (unexploded ordnance) left behind during the “Secret War” (1964–1973).
• Each bangle is a tangible reminder of the past, reimagined as a peaceful gesture for the future.
🔥 Traditional Craftsmanship
• Scrap metal is melted in earthen kilns, poured into hand-sculpted moulds of wood and ash, and finished by hand.
• The result is a simple, elegant bangle with a brushed texture and quiet strength—each one slightly unique.
