Peace Bangle - Bracelet Made from Recycled Vietnam War Bomb Aluminium
Description
Handcrafted in Laos from aluminium recycled from bombs dropped during the Vietnam War, this Peace Bangle transforms a legacy of conflict into a symbol of hope and resilience. Available in three sizes — women's (6.7cm), men's (7.7cm) and children's (6cm), measured across the inside diameter — each bangle arrives in a white presentation pouch with a story card.
The aluminium is safely sourced from deactivated unexploded ordnance left behind during the Vietnam War's "Secret War" era (1964–1973). Artisan families in the mountains of Laos melt the scrap metal in earthen kilns and pour it into hand-sculpted moulds, giving each bangle a brushed texture and a subtly unique finish.
A meaningful, fair trade gift for anyone who values purpose-driven design and a story with real history behind it.
